Kirbie seeks to help clients align their money with their values by walking with them through the investment management and financial planning processes. Make friends with your money and put it to work doing good for you and what you care about!

Kirbie brings her passion for educating people about their money and helping them demystify financial concepts to her work as an investment manager and financial planner at Natural Investments (NI). She is excited to be working in partnership with fellow NI advisor Greg Pitts, who brings over a decade of experience and invaluable support to their practice.

Currently residing in her hometown of Greenville, SC, Kirbie enjoyed living in Colorado and Vermont before returning to Greenville for good. She holds master’s degrees in Art History and Intercultural Service, Leadership, & Management, and has sought professional opportunities that support a variety of social and environmental causes.

Kirbie worked with the Upstate SC land trust and conservation nonprofit Upstate Forever to help them meet their goals through fundraising initiatives. While there, she grew her interests in land conservation, smart growth, and clean air and water issues, and experienced firsthand how charitable giving can effect significant change. At Goodwill Industries she developed her love of working one-on-one with individuals, improving their work readiness and financial literacy skills.

During her graduate education, she spent time in Kigali, Rwanda, interning in the National University of Rwanda’s Centre for Conflict Management and conducting primary research in post-genocide identity reconstruction. This experience provided a unique perspective on sustainable development and global poverty issues and further shaped her attitudes around charitable giving and the power of impact investing.

Kirbie currently coordinates the financial literacy program for Soteria Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit that empowers people returning from prison to succeed personally and professionally. She has also enjoyed volunteering with Foothills Family Resources, Triune Mercy Center, the IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program, the Greenville Humane Society, the Greenville Literacy Association, the Upcountry History Museum, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate.

Kirbie is thrilled to be part of a team that is co-creating change in the world with clients, and looks forward to helping you make a difference with your money!
