Kirbie believes financial planning is for everyone, and brings a commitment to helping clients align their values with their money to Natural Investments.

Currently residing in her hometown of Greenville, SC, Kirbie enjoyed living in Colorado and Vermont before finding her way back to Greenville for good in 2012. She holds master’s degrees in Art History (University of Denver, 2004) and Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management (SIT Graduate Institute, 2013), and has sought professional opportunities that allow her to put her passion for a variety of social and environmental causes into action.

From 2007-2011, Kirbie worked with the Upstate SC conservation nonprofit Upstate Forever to help them meet their goals through fundraising initiatives and a membership program. While there, she grew her interests in land conservation, smart growth, and clean air and water issues, and experienced firsthand how charitable giving can effect significant change. With Goodwill Industries from 2014-2017, she developed her love of working one-on-one with individuals, improving their work readiness and financial literacy skills.

During her graduate education, she spent part of 2012 in Kigali, Rwanda, interning in the National University of Rwanda’s Centre for Conflict Management and conducting primary research in post-genocide identity reconstruction. This experience provided a unique perspective on sustainable development and global poverty issues and further shaped her attitudes around charitable giving and the power of impact investing.
